Fundraising Goal: $25,000
At Verge Center for the Arts, we are expanding our Education Program with new dedicated studio spaces for ceramics and printmaking—a major step forward in making hands-on arts education more accessible, affordable, and inspiring for our community.
Thanks to a CNRA grant, we are able to build these new facilities. Now, we need your help to fully equip them.
Why Your Support Matters
These new education studios will allow Verge to expand one of our most popular and impactful program areas—our clay and print labs—serving children, teens, and adults across the Sacramento region.
To bring these spaces to life, we are raising funds for essential equipment and furnishings, including:
- A pug mill to recycle clay and make our program more sustainable
- Additional pottery wheels to support increased class capacity
- Shelving and storage systems for materials and student work
- Cabinets, tools, and studio furnishings to fully equip the space
These improvements will ensure that our education studios are not only functional but welcoming, safe, and creatively inspiring for all participants.
Building a More Accessible & Sustainable Program
Verge’s clay program is one of our most active and beloved offerings, with clay labs and classes running multiple times each week. As participation continues to grow, so does our need for equipment that supports both accessibility and sustainability.
By investing in tools like a pug mill and additional infrastructure, we can reduce material waste, lower long-term costs, and keep classes affordable for our community—ensuring that more people can participate regardless of financial barriers.
Your Impact
Your donation directly supports:
- Affordable, high-quality arts education for youth and adults
- Expanded access to ceramics and printmaking programs
- Sustainable studio operations for years to come
- A creative space where artists of all ages can learn, grow, and connect
As a special thank you, all donors to this campaign will be entered into a raffle for a private wheel-throwing class at Verge!
