The arts changed my life, and now I’m dedicated to bringing that same transformation to students across our community. As a shy child, I found my voice through theater—it gave me the confidence to speak up, connect with others, and discover my strengths. That’s why I founded NorCal Arts, an organization that brings theater and arts education to over 12,000 students in the Sacramento region, ensuring that every child, regardless of financial means, has access to creative opportunities.

But the arts are about more than just creativity. They teach collaboration, confidence, and conflict resolution, helping students develop the skills they need to navigate the world. Through our programs, young people learn to express themselves, work together, and build a sense of belonging in their schools and communities.
