$1,500 goal

Please join me in donating to the American Heart Association during this year's Big Day of Giving. This organization is near and dear to my heart as our youngest son, Luke, suffers from a congenital heart disease, Tetralogy of Fallot. He's already undergone 2 open heart surgeries - one at 5 months old and one at 9 years old. His next one will be in two years.

Luke, by himself, has already raised over $10,000 for the association through his fundraising efforts.

The American Heart Association (AHA) has a mission to be a relentless force for longer, healthier lives. This is achieved by advancing cardiovascular health for all, while also working to identify and eliminate barriers to healthcare access and quality. The AHA focuses on improving heart and brain health, and promoting healthy living through various programs, research, and advocacy efforts. Building on a century of lifesaving progress in cardiovascular disease and stroke, the American Heart Association has centered a new vision for its next 100 years: Advancing health and hope for everyone, everywhere.

Impact Goal: Building on over 100 years of trusted leadership in cardiovascular and brain health, by 2028 the AHA will drive breakthroughs and implement proven solutions in science, policy and care for healthier people and communities. The greatest discoveries in health must reach people where they are.

Heart disease is the leading cause of death globally and in the United States.

Let's make a difference together and help these heart and stroke warriors fight these deadly diseases.

We'll work together to help save lives...like my 12 year old son.
