$500 goal

This Big Day of Giving, I've chosen to help Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento reach their goal of $150,000 so that they can continue to bring people together to build homes, communities, and hope!

Sure, I may be a little biased since I work here, but hey! It's an amazing organization that is doing truly wonderful work for hard-working families here in my hometown!

đź’« BONUS! đź’« Double your impact! U.S. Bank is supporting Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento by matching donations dollar-for-dollar up to $50,000! đź’Ż

HOW YOUR DONATION MAKES A DIFFERENCE

🏡 Builds and Repairs Homes: Your donation contributes directly to building safe, affordable homes for families in need and to providing critical repairs to preserve homes and revitalize neighborhoods.

💙 Creates Hope: Homeownership is more than just having a roof over one's head—it's about building a foundation for a better future. Your generosity helps us provide hope and stability for families throughout Sacramento and Yolo counties.

🌟Strengthens Community: By supporting Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento, you're investing in the strength and resilience of our community. Together, we can create lasting change.

DID YOU KNOW THAT IN 2023…

  • Habitat served over 8,000 individuals through build, repair, and community investment projects?
  • Habitat built 13 new homes and had 12 additional homes under construction?
  • Habitat completed 32 community impact projects?
  • Habitat received over 200 homeowner applications for the 13 homes that were built?

While Habitat is making remarkable strides in our community, the demand for affordable housing in Sacramento continues to rise and they need our help now more than ever!

FUN FACTS:

  • Future Habitat homeowners are required to put in 500 hours of “sweat equity” building Habitat homes.
  • Habitat homes are not free – Applicants must have the ability to pay for the house through a fixed payment, 30-year mortgage at a 0% interest equivalent. A typical mortgage is 30% of the homeowner’s gross monthly income and includes property taxes and insurance.
  • Habitat has been around since 1985 and has built or repaired over 480 homes in Sacramento and Yolo counties!

Please join me in supporting Habitat for Humanity during Big Day of Giving this year!
