Miles That Matter - Road to the CIM

I'm running a marathon for Runnin’ for Rhett 💙.

On March 13, 2004, Rhett Seevers passed away at 7 years old due to complications from cerebral palsy. Throughout his life, Rhett couldn’t walk, run, or jump, but his joyful spirit and radiant smile inspired everyone who knew him. On the first anniversary of Rhett's passing, his mom, Beth, laced up her running shoes and ran a half-marathon. That one brave step became the start of Runnin’ for Rhett, a nonprofit that now empowers thousands of youth to MOVE INTO LIFE by doing what Rhett only dreamed of.

I’m running the California International Marathon (CIM) to honor Rhett’s legacy and raise funds for this incredible organization. Every dollar helps fund free youth fitness programs that empower kids across Sacramento to build lifelong habits of health, movement, and self-belief.
