Marcie's NorCal Resist Fundraiser

I support NorCal Resist because of the work they do to support our local immigrant and asylee communities. They conduct monthly pro se asylum clinics working with asylum seekers from Afghanistan, Ukraine and Central America. They distribute food and diapers to community members as well as fresh produce from their community garden. They raise funds to post bonds to liberate immigrants from ICE detention. They have volunteers in their accompaniment program to help immigrants navigate bureaucratic, medical and legal services and so much more. This group of dedicated volunteers is my favorite non-profit and any donation will have a direct positive effect on people right here in our own community.
