Fifth Annual Spring Community Extravaganza

For the last four years YOYO has put together an Annual Spring Community Extravaganza: Glow-in-the-Dark Egg Hunt. This event is more than just a fun-filled a violence prevention initiative aimed at fostering unity and creating a safe space for families in Del Paso Heights, Sacramento. Hosted by Young Optimistic Youth Opportunities (YOYO), this event brings families together in an effort to reduce violence, build community connections, and provide positive alternatives for youth.

By bringing the community together in a positive and uplifting environment, this event helps divert youth from negative influences, strengthen family bonds, and promote peace. YOYO is dedicated to creating events that empower families, encourage togetherness, and make neighborhoods safer, proving that community engagement is a powerful tool in reducing violence.
