Marcie and Sofia's NorCal Resist Fundraiser

We support NorCal Resist because they show up, month after month, for our immigrant and asylee neighbors when it matters most.  Their dedicated volunteers run monthly pro se asylum clinics, helping asylum seekers from Afghanistan, Ukraine, and Central America with one of the most daunting legal processes imaginable.  They raise funds to post bonds and free immigrants from detention so families can be together while they fight for their futures.  They grow fresh produce at their Seeds of Solidarity community farm and distribute groceries and diapers directly to families who need them.  And through their accompaniment program, trained volunteers stand beside community members at immigration check-ins, court appearances, and other essential appointments; making sure no one has to face it alone.  This is not a massive organization with layers of overhead.  NorCal Resist is a passionate group of volunteers pouring their time and energy into direct, tangible impact.  That means your donation—no matter the size—translates immediately into real support for real people living right here alongside us.
