"Why I Run"
This December, I’m running 26.2 miles, not just for myself, but for thousands of kids who are learning to run their very first 5K.
Through Runnin’ for Rhett’s Youth Fitness Program, kids across the Sacramento community are getting the chance to discover the joy of movement, build confidence, and cross their own finish lines—often for the very first time. And it’s free for every child.
As I train for my marathon, I carry their energy with me. Every early morning, every long run, every sore muscle—it’s all worth it to help kids move into life, just like I am.
