In support and solidarity of a close friend of mine who is impacted by early onset Parkinson's, I donate $200 from each of my real estate sales to the Parkinson Association of Northern California. I'm happy to have started this initiative in January 2021. My dear friend Dani, is a 3rd generation early onset recipient. She is diligent in her fight to slow the progression and very participatory in all of the PANC and Young Onset Group events to drive awareness. She is quite inspiring to say the least!
Parkinson's disease affects the brain and impacts a person's ability to move. The exact cause is not known and there is no cure. Symptoms can be managed through exercise, diet, treatments and medication. The disease progresses slowly and can be hard to deal with.
One day we can find a cure!
