Kara 4 GOTR 2025 – Strong Girls, Stronger Futures

This is my final year serving as Board Chair for Girls on the Run of Greater Sacramento, and I’ve never been more proud to be part of something so meaningful.

I’ve dedicated my time, energy, and resources to this organization because I believe in what it stands for: empowering girls to grow strong in body, mind, and spirit. At a time when the world sends girls so many conflicting messages, GOTR gives them space to breathe, to believe in themselves, and to build lifelong skills rooted in confidence, compassion, and courage.

Studies show that by the end of 5th grade, a girl’s self-esteem is largely set. That’s why our program matters so much—it reaches girls at exactly the right time with exactly the right tools.

In 2024, Girls on the Run Greater Sac served almost 800 girls! Help us continue to grow!
