Jacklin's Big Day of Giving Fundraiser

Do you have a favorite birthday memory from your youth? 

Did you know that many underserved youth do not? 

For youth in foster care, experiencing homelessness, survivors of domestic violence or human trafficking, birthdays are often just another day on the calendar. Cake4Kids aims to change that by delivering free custom homemade birthday cakes!  It may just be a cake, but the children we bake for know that a stranger took the time and effort to do something special just for them. 

Cake was always the highlight of my birthday as a child. I'll never forget the Little Mermaid cake my parents got for my 8th birthday. My family knows, even decades later, a cake is still a must on my birthdays. Pictured you can see the birthday cake my daughter and husband baked for me last year. It meant more to me than most things should. It also served as a reminder to me of how much a cake can mean to the youth we serve. 

The Cake4Kids Sacramento Chapter baked and delivered over 900 celebratory treats for youth in Sacramento, Yolo, and Placer counties in 2024. In 2025, we've expanded to include El Dorado county as well.
