Empower Yolo provides critical services to Yolo County abuse survivors, and individuals and families in need including:

• 24/7 Crisis Hotline

• Emergency Shelter and Transitional Housing

• 3 Family Resource Centers in Davis, Knights’ Landing, and Woodland

• Free Clothing Closet

• Free Tax Preparation Assistance

• Emergency Food Supplies

• Legal Advocacy 

• Counseling

• Child Educational and Therapeutic Services

• Women's Support Group

• Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Response Teams

• Violence/Abuse Prevention Education and Outreach

• Empower Youth Teen Abuse Prevention Program (DUSD)

• ASSETs-After School Safety and Enrichment for Teens (WJUSD) 

• Health Education and Care

• Financial Self-Sufficiency Classes 

• Homeless Prevention & Rapid Re-housing Program

Founded in Davis in 1977, Empower Yolo is Yolo County’s sole provider of free services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. We began with crisis intervention from a small apartment in Davis and have since grown to offer a multitude of services throughout Yolo County.

We have $50,000 in matching funds thanks to our generous matching donors.  Your donation will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $50,000 when you give starting April 18 through May 2 at bigdayofgiving.org/organization/empoweryolo.
