If you’ve never heard of Roberts Family Development Center (RFDC), let me introduce you to something truly special.

RFDC is a grassroots nonprofit that has been serving families in North Sacramento and the Greater Sacramento area for 25 years. Our mission is simple but powerful: to provide safe spaces, educational opportunities, and life-changing support to children, youth, and families, especially those in historically underserved communities.

I’ve had the honor of serving with RFDC for the past 9 years, and let me tell you, it’s more than a job, it’s a calling.   I’ve witnessed young people discover their worth, families find stability, and entire neighborhoods feel the impact of what it means when someone cares deeply and shows up consistently.

Today, on this Big Day of Giving, I’m asking for your help.
