'In search of my mother’s garden I found my own.' - Alice Walker
Food, shelter, employment, support – that’s all critical to a new beginning for the survivors of commercial sexual exploitation that come to CASH for help. But we strive to feed not just the body, but also the soul.
And that’s what a garden can do.
Help us turn this forgotten corner of our parking lot into a space for healing and growth for plants and people.
- $25 will provde gardening tools for three women to work in the garden.
- $50 will help us to fill a planter box with soil.
- $100 will fill a planter with marigolds, zinnias, tomatoes, and herbs.
- $250 will provide a table, chairs and umbrella for clients to enjoy the peace of the garden
- $500 will build an entire 4 x 8 planter box and fill it with flowers and vegetables in 2024.
