At Girls on the Run, we believe every girl’s potential is limitless -- but it needs to be activated.

As I step into the role of Board Chair for GOTR Sacramento, my focus is on building a resilient, sustainable organization that can serve girls in every corner of our four-county region (Sacramento, Yolo, and the western slopes of Placer & El Dorado Counties).

GOTR is more than just a running club -- we are the ONLY evidence-based program that helps Sacramento-area girls build their emotional, mental, and physical health.

The program combines a professionally designed curriculum with a 5K training plan encouraging girls to develop self-respect and make healthy decisions. They also build life skills such as confidence, kindness, and decision-making.

Approximately 50% of our girls rely on scholarships to participate -- and that's why we need your financial support.

Where Your Money Goes:

$50: Provides a new pair of running shoes for a scholarship recipient.

$215: Covers a full season scholarship for a GOTR girl (shoes, 10-week curriculum, and 5K entry).

$500: Funds healthy snacks for 5 teams for an entire season.

$1,505: Provides scholarships to launch an entire new site, where half the girls need financial aid to participate.

I am so committed to this mission that I am personally matching every dollar raised up to $3,225. This means your gift is doubled instantly.

Your $50 doesn't just buy one pair of shoes -- it buys two.

Your $215 doesn't sponsor one girl -- it sponsors two.

By supporting Girls on the Run today, you aren't just giving a donation -- you are fueling a movement of joyful, healthy, and confident girls who will lead our community tomorrow.

THANK YOU FOR HELPING US REACH THE FINISH LINE!
