Rocklin Community Theatre: A Home, A Family, A Future

Rocklin Community Theatre is more than just a theatre; it is a home and a safe haven for many. Unlike any other theatre company, Rocklin Community Theatre provides scholarships to kids and teens, allowing them to participate in shows, classes, and camps regardless of their financial means. This unique opportunity fosters creativity, growth, and lifelong friendships.

For the past 13 years, Rocklin Community Theatre has been my second home. If I'm not at home, you can find me there—whether I'm serving as the Vice President on the board, teaching a tap class, directing, or choreographing a show. Creating at the theatre alongside my best friends, Haylie and Lizzy, is one of my greatest joys. We often say that Rocklin Community Theatre is a wonderful place for kids to start out and find a group of lifelong friends. For me, the theatre has done just that.

This September, I am getting married, and more than half of my wedding party consists of people I met throughout my theatre journey. Rocklin Community Theatre has opened countless opportunities for me, both personally and professionally. I even met my fiancé through theatre!
