In 2022, I started The Baby Mama Club during one of the hardest seasons of my life: raising two kids, navigating co-parenting, and trying to be everything to everyone… with no village in sight. I used what I had...my personal funds, lived experience, and an honest voice to create spaces where moms like me could feel seen, supported, and heard.

At the time, I thought doing it alone was the only way. But over time, through community circles, open conversations, and trial-and-error, I learned something powerful: asking for help is strength. Building something meaningful doesn’t happen in isolation.

That’s why this fundraiser matters.

The Baby Mama Club is growing, and our mission is clear: we help mothers feel less alone, challenge the stigma around the word “baby mama,” and bring real resources to women raising the next generation often with little help.

This $5,000 will help:

  • Fund our monthly virtual Mommy Circles

  • Create emergency support opportunities through our new Village Fund

  • Provide stipends for childcare during events

  • Launch workshops focused on healing, self-love, and empowerment

  • Cover essential start-up costs as we move toward becoming a fully staffed, sustainable nonprofit

Although I didn’t receive the grant I applied for this year to help keep us going (definitely wanted to give up), the feedback was more than clear: "Keep going."  I know this is just the beginning.

The Baby Mama Club is rooted in real life. It’s personal. It’s vulnerable. And it’s community-powered. I'm not wearing a cape anymore...I'm walking with purpose, and I’m calling on you to walk with me.

Let’s bring back the true meaning of “it takes a village.”Because when we water the moms, we grow the village. 💛
