Amanda Bloom's HEC Fundraising Page

My work at HEC is important to me because I get to work on some of the biggest problems facing the Sacramento region. Instead of worrying about quality of life in our region, I get to take action! 

HEC's work is important because we put the residents with whom we work at the center of it. We don't just come in with ready-made solutions but we take the time to listen and learn from residents. We are constantly innovating our work to meet the needs of local people.

My proudest moment at HEC was watching our staff come together during the COVID19 pandemic. Our staff rose to the occasion, serving people most impacted by the epidemic. Our staff innovated to solve tough problems, creating new ways to connect with people at risk. 

My fundraising goal is $400.
