Not only am I the mom of a wonderful 11-year-old daughter, but as a second-year Board Member for Girls on the Run Sacramento, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing firsthand the incredible reach and impact of this program. Each season, it inspires and empowers a remarkable group of young girls, helping them build confidence, develop resilience, and grow into strong, compassionate individuals.

I’m truly honored to work alongside such a dedicated community committed to uplifting the next generation. I hope you, as part of my community, will consider supporting Girls on the Run and helping expand this important mission to even more girls.

Approximately 50% of our girls rely on scholarships to participate -- and that's why we need your financial support. 

Where Your Money Goes:

$50: Provides a new pair of running shoes for a scholarship recipient.

$215: Covers a full season scholarship for a GOTR girl (shoes, 10-week curriculum, and 5K entry).

$500: Funds healthy snacks for 5 teams for an entire season.

$1,505: Provides scholarships to launch an entire new site, where half the girls need financial aid to participate.
