Stephanie's GOTR Sac Fundraiser

I wish this program existed when I was young. Girls who are involved in Girls on the Run will be decades ahead of where I was when I started my career. These girls practice so many meaningful lessons including teamwork, friendship (choosing friends with H.E.A.R.T.), compromise, positive self-talk, standing up for yourself and others, and so much more! The lessons learned in our fun and engaging practices will last long after they cross the 5K finish line. These lessons will positively impact them as they move through school, into junior high, high school, college and into their jobs and careers. This program makes a real, tangible difference right here in our community.

I am born and raised in this community and, as the Executive Director of Girls on the Run of Greater Sacramento, feel tremendously proud to bring joy, self-confidence, friendship, mentorship and accomplishment to girls in the Greater Sacramento region.

With over 50% of our participants requiring financial aid to participate, we are leaning on our incredible community to help us raise $30,000 so we can continue to offer this program to ALL girls in our region, regardless of their financial situation.
