Active Bodies. Empowered Lives

Donate today and your gift will be DOUBLED dollar-for-dollar, up to $50,000, to help more children experience the lifelong benefits of movement and mindfulness.

For 15 years, Fit Kids has transformed schools and communities by making movement and mindfulness accessible to all children. What began with 12 sites and 420 students has grown into 190 partner sites serving nearly 30,000 kids across 12 states and 2 countries.

The evidence is clear: regular movement strengthens bodies, boosts moods, improves focus and grades, and builds confidence that lasts a lifetime. Daily activity lowers the risk of chronic disease by up to 58%, reduces depression risk by 25%, and boosts classroom focus by 20%. Yet three out of four U.S. kids do not meet daily activity recommendations.

In too many under-resourced communities, children still go without PE teachers or safe places to play. In California alone about half of the elementary districts lack a dedicated PE teacher, and over 80% of students don’t get the legally required amount of PE time.

As we celebrate our 15th Anniversary and a decade and a half of impact, we’re looking ahead to an even bolder goal: doubling our reach so every child, no matter where they live, can experience the confidence, connection, and health that movement and mindfulness provide.

To honor this milestone and fuel our next chapter, a group of generous supporters has created a $50,000 matching challenge. Every gift made, up to $50,000, between now and December 31 will be doubled, helping Fit Kids reach new communities, empower more educators, and transform more lives.

Your gift today will help carry this movement forward. Join us in celebrating 15 years of success, and building a stronger, brighter future for kids everywhere.
