Support Book First and Summer Reading

First grade classrooms come to the library for a visit or the librarian goes out to the schools. Every first grader gets to pick out two books to take home. We help them write their name inside. We talk about how much it costs to check out a book and how you can be a Friend of a building! Summer Reading is where you can become a Reading Champion! You get a lawn sign and a medal and cool books just for reading! And, adults can be reading champs, too!
