Here’s how your donation helps to change lives:

1. Homekey Program: Creating Lasting Homes

With your generosity, we are part of a statewide effort to expand permanent housing options for individuals at risk of or currently experiencing homelessness. The Homekey Program provides stable housing in South Lake Tahoe where residents not only pay rent but also receive the supportive services and case management needed to rebuild their lives. Your contribution directly sustains these properties, ensuring individuals have a permanent place to call home.

2. Coordinated Entry: Connecting People with the Right Resources

Our Coordinated Entry program matches individuals in need with community resources that best fit their specific situation. Whether it’s housing, healthcare, or employment support, we work tirelessly to ensure each person receives the help they need to break free from homelessness. Your donation helps ensure this vital process is accessible and effective.

3. Emergency Shelter: Providing Immediate Relief

TCH began with the simple goal of providing a safe place for those in crisis. Today, our Emergency Shelter offers 14 beds where individuals can find warmth, safety, and food—24 hours a day. This program provides three meals daily, along with access to case managers who assist with housing navigation and supportive services. Your donation keeps this shelter open and running, offering a lifeline to people in need.

4. Rapid Rehousing: A Bridge to Stability

Through the Rapid Rehousing program, we help individuals and families move from temporary shelter to permanent housing. By offering rental assistance and case management, we support people as they regain stability and self-sufficiency. Your donation helps provide short-term and medium-term housing assistance for households in need, giving them the tools and resources to thrive.

5. Arise: Supporting Domestic Violence Survivors

For survivors of domestic violence, escaping an abusive situation is just the beginning. Through the Arise program, we provide rapid rehousing and support services, offering survivors a safe path forward. Your gift makes it possible for survivors to rebuild their lives with the security of permanent housing and the support they need to heal.
