Animal Rescue and Care

Blackberry Creek Farm Animal Sanctuary provides critical rescue services and permanent sanctuary homes for species not assisted by traditional shelters. The home of more than 80 animals, our non-profit sanctuary goes above and beyond to make rescued animals a part of our family. By supporting our work on Big Day of Giving, you are supporting:

1. 24/7 individual care 365 days of the year for rescued animals saved from abuse, neglect, and slaughter.
2. Medical equipment and emergency veterinary care for animals in need.
3. Humane education and plant-based advocacy for local communities.
4. LEAP (Leaders for Ethics, Animals, and the Planet), our youth education program, a compassionate alternative to FFA and 4H for students
5.  General operating costs for the sanctuary (animal feed, bedding, medication, fencing, maintenance, etc.) 
6. Habitat expansion and animal enrichment.
