At Sacramento ACT, we get that life is complicated, and we know our communities face a lot of challenges. Our Local Organizing Committees (LOC) dive into the mix of issues like homelessness, mental health, public safety, youth, and immigration. We use that information to plan out strategies and campaigns that tackle the big problems in our area.
We're like bridge builders, bringing all kinds of folks together to work on solutions. We're all about making unlikely partnerships happen, because we know that's how we'll really make a difference.
We also team up with congregations to make sure the faith community's voice is heard loud and clear. We're all about shaping a moral vision based on shared faith values, and we want to inspire action that makes a positive impact.
Looking ahead to the next five years, we're all in on building power within our communities. We want to make sure local priorities become top priorities for our city, county, and region. And we're serious about fairness—making sure things are equal when it comes to systems, policies, and resources.
Even if we can't reach every community directly, we're committed to helping our partners understand how organizing can shake things up for the better.
