Since 1946, YFC has been serving thousands of middle- and high-school kids in the greater Sacramento region (Sacramento, Placer, Nevada, El Dorado & Yolo counties), for the purpose of encouraging their character, confidence, responsibility and faith. YFC engages over 3,000 youth yearly through activities at three unique teen centers (West Sac, Citrus Heights, Granite Bay), through Crossover Basketball for high risk youth; through Juvenile Hall ministry, and through Campus Life programs, which offer mentoring relational fun.
YFC reaches kids with the great news of Jesus Christ, and encourages local church membership for lifelong spiritual growth.
501(c)(3) nonprofit Youth For Christ (YFC) reaches young people everywhere, working together with the local church and other like-minded partners to raise up lifelong followers of Jesus who lead by their godliness in lifestyle, devotion to the word of God and prayer, passion for sharing the love of Christ, and commitment to social involvement.
We are always looking for caring adults who will invest in the lives of young people.
Unrestricted funds help us meet our ongoing needs to fund our organization and achieve our mission in the greater Sacramento region.
