Yolo Healthy Aging Alliance a non-profit serving as the voice for older adults in Yolo County. Our mission is to promote the well-being of older adults through educational presentations for the public, collaboration of providers for a better-connected health and social system, and advocacy to be sure the full spectrum of services and supports are available, and people know how to find those services when needed. The Yolo Healthy Aging Alliance is part of a statewide initiative, working to transform the system of care so that all Californians can age with dignity, choice and independence. We offer information, advocacy, and connection to services for seniors, their families and caregivers, and providers.

See our programs tab for more information.

The Yolo Healthy Aging Alliance promotes the well-being of older adults through Education, Collaboration, and Advocacy.

By contributing, you will allow YHAA to help as many older adults as possible. We need funds to expand our outreach and programming, reaching more people and expanding programs and services to more rural, underserved areas.

Here are some examples of how your generosity can help expand programs and directly benefit older adults:

A donation of $100 will install a grab bar to prevent a fall and protect the safety of older adults.

A donation of $200 will provide 20 meals for older adults, in conjunction with connections to needed programs and services

The 2022 Healthy Aging printed resource guide was very popular among older adults and community organizations. We hope to publish and distribute 1,000 copies of an updated, comprehensive, printed community resource guide in 2023 and will need $10,000 to do so.

We are also looking for volunteers for a number of our programs, including Mobile Meals for Healthy Aging and YHAA Phone Friends.
