Winters Music Boosters (WMB) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization run by a dedicated group of community volunteers. Fundraising goes directly to support music programs within Winters JUSD for students from transitional kindergarten through 12th grade.
Our goal is to take WJUSD’s music and performing arts programs beyond the classroom. Over the years, WMB has helped send students to parades, competitions, honor band, honor choir, and more. These opportunities outside the four walls of the classroom would simply not be possible without the support of Winters Music Boosters. Thank you for being part of that support, both in the past and present.
This year, our Winters Middle School and Winters High School students have astonished us. A record number of WMS musicians and singers competed and were awarded honor band and honor choir. These students joined other Northern CA students for exclusive training and group performance in Sacramento. WMS choir students sang the national anthem at the Sacramento River Cats game in April and knocked it out of the park! The WMS advanced band and choir are attending the Disney Imagination Campus Soundtrack Session in May —an instrumental and vocal workshop held in a professional recording studio at Disneyland.
At WHS, our newly formed Jazz Band impressed audiences at eight regional performances. The inaugural Musical Theater class delivered an eerie and heartwarming production of The Addams Family in April for over 270 attendees over three shows. The WHS Band traveled with the CIF state championship Warrior Football game to perform at the Southern California stadium in December and will conclude the year with a band competition at Universal Studios Hollywood in May.
It has been such a big year for enrichment beyond the classroom, and we hope you were able to enjoy one of these performances.
We strongly believe that participating in the performing arts sets students on a creative path to success. Supporting students beyond high school is a meaningful continuation of that path. Your contributions also allow us to provide two $500 scholarships to graduating seniors who plan to continue their musical journey.

Winters Music Boosters is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing financial support and volunteer assistance to help maintain the music programs in all Winters public TK-12 schools.
WMB is seeking financial donations in order to continue to support robust music programs for WJUSD students.
We are in need of individuals who can support this group with their time. The board meets monthly and is actively seeking additional volunteers.
WMB is happy to accept donations of gently used instruments and musical equipment. We work closely with the music teachers to make sure that donated instruments are in good repair and then they are officially donated to the district music program.
All Winters Joint Unified School District students deserve equitable access to a quality music program.
