Founded in 1972, the Sacramento Life Center is a AAAHC Accredited, state licensed medical clinic, and the first in the Sacramento area to offer a mobile medical clinic. Our primary goal is to ensure low-income women have the resources needed to become parents. They come in for a pregnancy test and they leave with a support system and resources. We serve everyone regardless of financial standing, ethnic background or religion, and we provide all of our services for free, thanks to private support from individuals, foundations, and corporations - we receive no government funding. We do not request or require medical insurance, and we do not contribute to political campaigns or ballot initiatives. In addition to the free medical care, we offer in our licensed primary clinics and a licensed Mobile Medical Clinic, we also offer well women exams, STD testing, male peer counseling, a 24-hour hotline, and support services for women and men.

Mission

The Sacramento Life Center provides compassionate, life-affirming medical care and resources to women and families facing unplanned or unsupported pregnancies, empowering them to make informed choices and build strong futures.

Needs

Ultrasound Program - Ultrasound Program is the most vital - and the most costly! Maintaining full-time medical staff and top-quality imaging equipment is expensive, and medical wages and operational costs continue to rise.

Electronic Health Record Software - We are looking to update our EHR system to make medical records and updates more accessible, and to allow for the most accurate and organized internal filing system.

General Donations - Operational expenses for our licensed mobile clinic, as well as our main clinic, are needed to continue offering free medical care, advocacy and resource referrals.

Baby Items - Diapers, wipes, new baby items, including infant and toddler clothing.
