Rancho Cordova Police Activity League (PAL) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that builds relationships between RCPD and youth through a variety of programs, at no cost to the kids. Each year, the program serves more than 3,500 youth in our community.

The youths learn vital skills such as teamwork and sportsmanship, create lasting friendships with each other, build trust with officers, give back to the community, and have fun! PAL youth have gone on to do great things from becoming police officers to achieving success in education and sports.

Mission

Rancho Cordova PAL's mission is to involve and mentor community youth in social, educational, recreational, and leadership activities, which will deter crime, increase self-esteem, and promote a positive relationship with law enforcement.

Needs

We are in need of funding programs such as boxing, art, music, computer programming, dance, and emotional intelligence, among others, that will are running in the new Rancho Cordova Youth Center.

We are also in need of volunteers to help at the youth center whether it be to chaperone, to teach a class, or other events or duties as assigned. Volunteers will need to be fingerprinted along with a background check prior to volunteering.

We are also looking for sponsorship for the youth center and equipment.

Equity Statement

Rancho Cordova PAL strives to advance racial equity in order to build a thriving economy and healthy environment for all youth. RC PAL envisions a community where investments are made in historically marginalized communities so that race is no longer a predictor of life outcomes, and outcomes for all groups are improved.
