The RED Perspective is a nonprofit faith community promoting RELATIONSHIP, ENCOURAGEMENT, and DEVELOPMENT by creating opportunities for individuals to know God; inspiring their hearts by nourishing them with His Word; and investing in their futures through artistic and educational resources. This is done through Bible study, healing/spiritual art workshops, education scholarships, mentoring, speaker training, conversation and support, leadership team building, and relationship.

Mission

Promoting Relationship, Encouragement, and Development.

Needs

Fundraising, Event Organization, Promotions, Social Media, and Grant Writers are just a few of the opportunities available in our organization. We also have local outreach opportunities available through our Art of Prayer workshops which are given to local groups and are often a breakout feature of larger conferences.

Part of our organization's encouragement efforts includes sending inspirational articles and reflections. If you are skilled in the area of writing, we would love to speak with you! We provide easy to follow guidelines and provide assistance to ensure that your submission is biblically accurate, inclusive, and resonates with our readers.

Board Members must be in agreement with our organization's values and be enthusiastic about furthering our goals to promote RELATIONSHIP, ENCOURAGEMENT, and DEVELOPMENT of individuals through our various resources - Bible study, education scholarships, mentoring, speaker training, conversation and support, leadership team building, art workshops, and relationship.

The funding for our education scholarships and art workshops are made possible through generous donors and large fundraising events such as the Big Day of Giving. Through unrestricted program funding, we have been able to award $1000 Ruth scholarships to young women ages 18-25 and $1000 Naomi scholarships to women over 40 who are returning to school or beginning their college career for the very first time. In 2020, we were able to add a 3rd scholarship known as the David Scholarship, which supports young men that want to begin a college career, particularly in the arts or music fields. Our first scholarship recipient received $1,000 toward his college tuition in 2021. We are excited to continue these scholarships in 2023!

Funding for operations helps us meet program needs, our low overhead costs, and further identify new organization goals. The RED Perspective has no paid staff or contractors, and Board members receive no compensation for their service. Every dollar donated to our organization is used specifically for ministry and outreach purposes. You can be confident that your donation will directly impact those who are served by our mission to promote relationship, encourage, and development.

Equity Statement

While our organization will always have a special burden for women, it is important to reflect in our mission that all persons have been fashioned in the image of a Divine Creator. It is because of this truth that The RED Perspective promotes relationship, encouragement, and development among all, not just those who fit inside a certain box, or look like one type of person.
