Placer People of Faith Together

Faith-Based Community Organizing is a method of working with faith communities to address the problems and concerns of our communities. We work with all faith traditions, including agnostics and atheists. There are many paths to a more just world and community organizing is one of them. Placer People of Faith Together's path involves teaching people how to build and exercise their own power, in conjunction with their community, to address the root causes of the problems they face. At the center of this model is our belief in the potential for transformation of people, institutions, and our culture. Placer People of Faith Together is dedicated to addressing issues by being actively engaged in the civic process.
