Planned Parenthood Mar Monte (PPMM is the largest Planned Parenthood affiliate in the country with 34 health centers throughout mid-California and Northern Nevada. Every year, we deliver vital health care, sex education, and information to nearly 300,000 adults and children.

We are committed to meeting the health care needs of all our patients, including those in the LGBTQ+ community. Gender affirming care is a core service available at all our health centers, making this critical care truly accessible, for the first time, to many of the rural communities in our affiliate region.

PPMM also provides PEP/PrEP, behavioral therapy and counseling, and multi-site STI testing that enables PPMM to identify patients at risk for HIV and, if necessary, to counsel and screen these patients and connect them to care.

Services provided in our health centers also include birth control, emergency contraception, pregnancy testing, prenatal care, abortion, adult general care, breast and cervical cancer screening, pediatrics, and well-baby care as well as testing and treatment for sexually transmitted diseases, and sterilization.

Advocating for our patients and the essential services provided in our health centers — whether on local boards and organizations, state legislatures, or congressional districts — is vital to the communities PPMM serves.

• SB 487: Protects reproductive health care providers from adverse actions as the result of another state’s law restricting comprehensive sexual and reproductive health care.

• AB 352: Enhances privacy protections for patients who access sensitive health care services in California by ensuring critical health information is not automatically shared with other states.

Planned Parenthood Mar Monte (PPMM) has earned a reputation as a trusted resource throughout the communities we serve. Our patients know staff will listen to their concerns, ensure that they have accurate and complete information, and support them in the health care choices they make.

All services are safe and confidential to ensure that all patients receive judgement-free health care.

PPMM advocacy efforts engage our communities and influence public policy to protect and promote equal access to quality health care for all individuals and families.
