Northern California Auto Racing, Inc., formed as a tax-exempt organization in 2017, is based in Sacramento. Its goal is to establish a physical museum and education center dedicated to preserving the region's extensive history in motorsports. The NCAR Board of Directors is comprised of nine members, each of whom has decades of professional experience in motorsports as racecar drivers, car owners, or team sponsors, as well as executive level experience in event promotion and the management of sanctioning organizations.
NCAR aims to preserve and promote the history of Northern California Auto Racing and Race Tracks through an educational experience and to honor the participants of NCAR in a museum and Hall of Fame.
