$5,000 Goal

The Latino Leadership Council was formed in 2007 to identify and advocate for the needs of Latino children and families and other unserved populations. We have developed partnerships with other service providers in order to improve their cultural competence, to secure funding to enhance Latino programs and to serve as a resource on the needs of the Latino culture. The LLC has recognized a need for continued partnership with existing non-profit organizations, public agencies, and community organizations to appropriately serve Latino populations and to provide support and education to Latino populations to advance their own health and wellness.

To foster leadership, education, and advocacy on behalf of the Latino community through cultural inclusivity, strategic partnerships, and innovative approaches.

- Donations of diapers, wipes, and other baby products for families.

- Supplies for our various groups and classes to provide support, health education, and mental well-being to our clients.

- Community members who have extreme hardships and are not eligible for other programs need funds to pay for emergency healthcare, 1-time housing funds, or other emergencies. Our current grants do not allow this type of individual support.

- Ongoing costs include our office, software subscriptions, and other monthly fees for communication (e.g., zoom, constant contact) and social media.

- Funding to write program grants for sustainability.
