Who We Are

Citrus Heights Arts (CHA) brings people together through creativity. We champion inclusive, accessible arts experiences that strengthen community connection, celebrate cultural expression, and make public spaces feel alive. From hands-on workshops and neighborhood celebrations to large-scale public art and cultural events, our work invites people of all ages to participate, create, and belong.

In July 2025, CHA launched the CH-40 Arts District — a bold, community-driven cultural corridor transforming everyday spaces into places of pride, creativity, and connection. In just a few months, the district has already completed 19 vibrant murals, created in collaboration with local artists and community partners, with more projects underway.

This rapid growth reflects both the talent in our community and the demand for visible, meaningful arts investment. With continued support, CHA is building a more colorful, connected, and thriving Citrus Heights, one wall, one event, and one shared experience at a time.

Mission

Our mission is to foster creativity, collaboration, and cultural enrichment by supporting and promoting diverse artistic expressions across the region. Needs

Why We Need Support

Your donation directly fuels the programs and experiences that bring art into everyday life in Citrus Heights and beyond. Contributions help us sustain and grow:

Community Arts Programming

Donations support our monthly art workshops and creative events, making it possible to offer hands-on experiences like painting, journaling, vision boarding, scrap journaling, and other wellness-centered art activities that are open and welcoming to all.

Public Events and Cultural Celebrations

Funding helps cover materials, permits, equipment, and artist honorariums for large-scale community events, including our 2025 cultural parade, which celebrates the diversity, history, and traditions of our region.

Artist Support

Your gift ensures local artists are paid fairly for leading workshops, creating public art, and sharing their skills with the community. This keeps creative talent thriving locally instead of burning out or moving on.

Accessible Spaces and Supplies

Donations allow us to secure event spaces, provide art supplies, and remove cost barriers so participants can show up, create, and connect without worrying about affordability.

Program Sustainability

General operating support gives us the flexibility to plan ahead, respond to community needs, and keep arts programming consistent, reliable, and growing year over year.

The Bottom Line

When you donate to Citrus Heights Arts, you are not just funding events — you are investing in community health, creative expression, and civic pride. Your support turns blank spaces into shared experiences and ideas into lasting impact.
