The Boys & Girls Club of Placer County was established in 1994 in response to the growing need to serve the youth in the community. The Club has grown over the years from a single location to four sites. The success of our programs is reflected in the growing number of members we serve and their continued achievements.
To inspire and empower all young people who pass through our doors to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens.
$75,000 - Scholarships are needed in keeping with our belief that no child should be turned away for lack of funds. Each year, the Boys & Girls Club of Placer County provides scholarships to families in need. Last year the Club provided more than $70,000 in scholarships for our members.
$50,000 - In the summer of 2022 we opened a new location in Roseville, California to serve youth in the greater Roseville area. For this new location in Roseville, we need funding for programming and new technology equipment such as computers, printers, etc. which are vital pieces to ensuring we have the equipment necessary for our members to complete their schoolwork.
$7,500 - The Mullin & McAdams Clubhouse is in need of a new Google Chromebook Lab, consisting of 20 affordably priced workbooks for members to do homework and unlock the digital learning resources available for many of the programs the Club runs on an annual basis.
General - the Club is in need of general support, allocated to the most critical needs to provide a safe, fun environment for every child who passes through our doors.
