In the last few years Woodland Host Lions has contributed more than $75,000 and thousands of hours to volunteer time to benefit local people and organizations. Some of the ways in which we have helped: Repair and maintain the Woodland Boy Scout cabin. Provide resources and services to visually impaired children and adults. College scholarships to local high school students.
To empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace and promote international understanding through Lions clubs.
Donations to fund our many community projects.
Our members are very different in many ways, but we share a core belief: community is what we make it. Being part of something bigger matters to our members. Because we'er local, we can serve the unique needs of our community. And because we're global, we can address challenges that go beyond borders.
