Women's Theatre Collective, we share a vision of a world safe for women and girls. We work toward that vision by producing entertainment that promotes a strong female identity and by partnering with other women-empowering organizations. We choose projects based on how they represent women and those who have or do identify as women, as well as the opportunities they create for female artists.
Women's Theatre Collective is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. A portion of the profit from every production is donated to other non-profits that benefit women in need.
Women's Theatre Collective was started in 2019 by Jenny Connors with the purpose of improving the portrayal and treatment of women through the art of theater. WTC is a non-profit organization made up of women involved in local theaters. We work to empower and support women and girls through the power of theater. We choose projects based on how they represent women and those who have been or do identify as women, as well as the opportunities they create for female artists.
In 2022, Jenny Connors partnered with Alison Gibreath to expand on the mission of Women’s Theatre Collective by starting Valkyrie Theatre Company. Where WTC focuses on women’s issues, VTC focuses on creating cutting-edge works and arts education for everyone.
