The Veteran Entrepreneur Tribe of Sacramento (VETS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization built by veterans, for veterans. We exist to help military-connected entrepreneurs start, grow, and scale sustainable businesses through community, education, and access to resources. We are not just an event group. We are building an ecosystem.
To empower, connect, and elevate veterans through community, education, entrepreneurship, and professional growth.
Each year, veterans in our region transition from military service into civilian life without a clear roadmap. Their leadership, discipline, and mission focus remain — but the structure and trusted network that once surrounded them often disappear overnight.
Too many face underemployment, isolation, and limited access to aligned business and procurement opportunities.
VETS exists to close that gap.
We provide veterans with the structure to execute — access to mentors, hiring fairs, educational programs, capital pathways, and a powerful network built on accountability and action.
As demand for our programming grows, so does the need for sustainable support.

At Veteran Entrepreneur Tribe of Sacramento (VETS), equity begins with access.

Factors such as race, gender, disability, socioeconomic background, and access to professional networks can shape a veteran’s ability to transition into meaningful employment or entrepreneurship.

VETS removes barriers by keeping our programming accessible, simplifying pathways to hiring managers and procurement opportunities, and intentionally expanding outreach to veterans who may not already be connected to business networks. We partner with employers, public agencies, and community leaders to create practical, transparent pathways to growth.
To us, equity means designing systems where opportunity does not depend on insider knowledge, financial privilege, or personal connections.
It means ensuring every veteran has a fair chance to build economic stability, grow a business, and move forward with dignity.
