Dry Creek Conservancy Program:
DCC is a collaborative engine organized for supporting local healthy natural ecosystems in our communities, focused on the Dry Creek watershed and its tributaries.
- We promote vibrant communities by expanding understanding of our natural world
- DCC helps facilitate collaboration of government agencies, non-government organizations, and citizens on watershed projects in the Dry Creek watershed of Placer County
- We have a restorative mindset, are action oriented, and support projects that meet public health and community needs based in clean and functioning streams and open spaces across our watershed
- We organize projects and processes such as native plantings, salmon migration monitoring, trash removal by coordinating regular volunteer creek cleanups in partnership with VFWC and the City of Roseville, and organize monthly collaborative meetings that provide the community with opportunities to come together as partners.
- DCC is a first choice of local government as a community partner for resource projects and community volunteer outreach and is a valued partner in all stakeholder processes.
