$50,000 Goal

The Jordan Project is a community-based nonprofit dedicated to serving individuals experiencing homelessness with compassion, dignity, and respect. We believe every person deserves to be seen, valued, and supported β€” not just through resources, but through genuine human connection.

Our mission is to provide essential services and pathways to stability, including food, showers, basic necessities, medical support, and connections to housing and social services. Beyond meeting immediate needs, we focus on building relationships that restore hope, confidence, and a sense of belonging.

At the heart of our work are our core values:

Compassion
We meet people where they are, offering kindness and understanding without judgment.

Dignity & Respect
Every individual is treated as a whole person, deserving of care, autonomy, and respect.

Community & Collaboration
We believe meaningful change happens together. Through partnerships with volunteers, local organizations, and service providers, we strengthen the safety net for our most vulnerable neighbors.

Hope & Empowerment
By providing consistent support and access to resources, we help individuals take steps toward stability and self-sufficiency.

Each week, our team and volunteers show up in the community to provide meals, services, and support β€” always centered on compassion and connection. We don’t just address homelessness; we work to restore dignity and create pathways forward.

Mission

The Jordan Project is a community initiative dedicated to reaching out to the homeless. Our mission is to provide essential resources such as food, showers, shelter, medical care and housing. We are fostering unity by collaborating with others in the community to love our neighbors as ourselves. Together, we strive to uplift and support the hurting individuals in our cities and around the world

Needs

Funding for the Mobile Rescue Unit:

We’re currently raising funds to complete our three-part Mobile Rescue Unit β€” including mobile showers, a food truck, and a mobile medical unit. These vehicles are the first step in bringing essential care directly to people living on the streets.

Supplies & Equipment:

Hygiene kits (soap, shampoo, towels, socks, etc.)

Non-perishable food and water

Medical and first aid supplies

Blankets, sleeping bags, and clothing (new or gently used)

Fuel and Maintenance Support:

Donations to help keep our mobile units running and on the road.

Equity Statement

At The Jordan Project, equity is at the heart of everything we do.

We believe that every person β€” regardless of their background, circumstances, or story β€” deserves dignity, compassion, and the opportunity to thrive.

We recognize that homelessness, addiction, and mental health challenges are often symptoms of deeper inequities: systemic barriers, economic hardship, racial injustice, and social stigma. Our mission is to bridge those gaps by meeting people where they are, without judgment, and ensuring that everyone has access to care, resources, and community.

We are committed to:

Inclusion: Creating welcoming environments where every individual feels seen, respected, and valued.

Accessibility: Delivering essential services β€” showers, food, medical care, housing, and employment support β€” to people who have been left out of traditional systems.

Representation: Elevating voices of those with lived experience in our leadership, decision-making, and program design.

Accountability: Continuously learning, listening, and evolving to ensure that our work reflects justice, fairness, and love in action.

At The Jordan Project, we believe true equity begins when we stand together β€” breaking down barriers, restoring hope, and rebuilding lives side by side.
