Equity Statement
At The Jordan Project, equity is at the heart of everything we do.
We believe that every person β regardless of their background, circumstances, or story β deserves dignity, compassion, and the opportunity to thrive.
We recognize that homelessness, addiction, and mental health challenges are often symptoms of deeper inequities: systemic barriers, economic hardship, racial injustice, and social stigma. Our mission is to bridge those gaps by meeting people where they are, without judgment, and ensuring that everyone has access to care, resources, and community.
We are committed to:
Inclusion: Creating welcoming environments where every individual feels seen, respected, and valued.
Accessibility: Delivering essential services β showers, food, medical care, housing, and employment support β to people who have been left out of traditional systems.
Representation: Elevating voices of those with lived experience in our leadership, decision-making, and program design.
Accountability: Continuously learning, listening, and evolving to ensure that our work reflects justice, fairness, and love in action.
At The Jordan Project, we believe true equity begins when we stand together β breaking down barriers, restoring hope, and rebuilding lives side by side.
