ABOUT US:

The Table Community Foundation's (TCF) mission is to create a better world through change in our youth one community at a time. We believe a child's destiny is determined by their accessibility to opportunities to learn and grow. We create safe spaces for youth to thrive through our Enrichment Learning Opportunity Programs (ELOP), after-school activities, summer and sports camps, and the annual Gift of Giving (GOG) program. Join us in shaping futures and fostering positive change—one community at a time.

CORE VALUES:

LOVE -

Love is at the core of our mission, a powerful force that drives our work. Working through love allows us to continuously extend our capacity to support, provide, protect, and grow our community through positivity. Only with love can we understand, respect, and teach with compassion.

SERVE -

Excellent service is more than what we provide, it's how we think and act. We pride ourselves on having positive interactions, prompt responses, and consistent and open communication to ensure that our communities have a wonderful experience each time we work with them. Our devotion to a superior service culture is what drives our commitment.

UNITE -

The essence of TCF is based upon our unity with diverse communities and local stakeholders to create a harmonious bond. Together, we celebrate the strength of diversity and work hand in hand toward a future where every voice is heard, every leader is empowered, and every community flourishes.

Giving Activity

Mission

To create a better world through change in our youth one community at a time.

Needs

TCF is continuously creating and implementing programs that students will find both engaging and useful to their personal development. All program funding will be utilize to cover cost associated to creating, developing, and administrating TCF programs.

With the ongoing development of various activities and programs, beginning this Summer TCF would like to roll out a new Lego Education program with the Lego WeDo 2.0 Core Set. TCF will launch this program during our Summer camps and will continue to utilize this program in our afterschool programs. However, this will not be possible without your help.

What we need to get this program up and running:

- 10 Lego WeDo 2.0 Core Sets ($225 each)

- 10 Chromebooks ($150 each)

- 5 Mifi Jetpack Mobile Hotspot ($130 each)

The list above will allow us to launch this program at 4 of our school sites and 1 community center. We will be able to have 20 students participate in pairs of 2 for each lessons and a total of 35 lessons.

More Info:

LEGO® Education WeDo 2.0 is an intuitive hands-on solution designed to develop elementary school students' curiosity and confidence to solve real-life problems through engaging STEAM projects. Easily adaptable to fit any learning environment, WeDo 2.0 challenges students to define problems, ask questions, and design their own solutions-setting them on a path to become lifelong learners.

*This is one example of the many programs TCF would like to administer at school sites and in our community center. All program funds will be utilized to support this and similar programs.
