Street Soccer USA started simply—two people connecting by passing a ball, using the game to connect, build trust, and create something positive.

Today, that simple idea has grown into a national movement.

Here in Sacramento, it lives at the Street Soccer USA Park.

We serve low-income youth, young adults, and families through free and low-barrier programs, while continuing to support individuals experiencing homelessness. Soccer is the entry point—but what’s built here goes far beyond the game.

At the park, participants find a safe, consistent place to show up, be known, and grow. They build relationships with coaches and peers, develop confidence and leadership, and become part of a community that supports and challenges them.

On any given day, the park is alive—kids playing their first games, teens stepping into leadership roles, and families gathering in a space that feels like their own.

We believe sport can help build stronger individuals and healthier communities.

At Street Soccer USA, we play for more than the result—we play to create a place where everyone belongs.

Giving Activity

Mission

The Street Soccer USA Park exists to create a safe, inclusive space where youth, families, and community members can play, grow, and connect through the game of soccer—building confidence, relationships, and opportunity both on and off the field.

Equity Statement

At Street Soccer USA, we believe every person deserves a place to belong.

At the SSUSA Park, that belief shows up in simple, real ways—free programs, open access, and a space where anyone can step onto the field and be part of something.

We work in communities where opportunity hasn’t always been evenly distributed. Where cost, access, or environment can make it harder for young people to participate, grow, and feel seen.

The park changes that.

Here, kids and families from all backgrounds come together—playing on the same field, learning from one another, and building relationships that go beyond the game.

We are committed to making sure: Programs remain free or low-cost

Girls and boys have equal opportunity to play and lead. Coaches reflect and support the communities they serve. Every player feels welcomed, respected, and valued. This isn’t just about soccer. It’s about creating a space where people are included, supported, and given the chance to grow—on their own terms. And it’s something we build together, every day at the park.
