$10,000 Goal

Saint Vincent de Paul’s Food Locker serves nutritious food twice a month to Sacramento area neighbors in need. We average 1,500 people served each month, representing about 450 households. In addition, we offer rent and utility assistance, and gift cards for clothing, furniture, bedding, kitchen and school supplies. Most importantly our 80 volunteers offer our neighbors presence and compassion; information and self-help and then, a little material help.

Based on our tax returns 99.9 cents of each dollar donated is used directly for the needs of our neighbors. This is made possible because SVdP workers are all volunteers. Our overhead is low and we rely principally on donations of food and other services.

We would not be able to do this work without the generous support of our community. We thank you for your support.
