Sistah Soul Brunch & Mixer is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to fostering an inclusive and thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem for Black women-owned businesses from Sacramento to the Greater Bay Area.

We create intentional spaces where Black women entrepreneurs can connect, collaborate, and grow sustainable businesses. Our annual signature event serves as a powerful platform that brings together entrepreneurs, potential clients, mentors, investors, and community leaders. Through curated networking, visibility opportunities, and meaningful engagement, participants are able to showcase their products and services while building relationships that lead to long-term growth.

In addition to our signature event, we host the Venture Soul Entrepreneurship Program — a community-centered, hands-on experience designed to support early-stage Black women and men entrepreneurs. The program provides foundational business education, mentorship, practical tools, and access to resources that help participants launch, grow, and sustain their businesses with confidence.

Through connection, education, and access to opportunity, Sistah Soul Brunch & Mixer is committed to advancing economic empowerment and building pathways to generational wealth within the communities we serve.

Sistah Soul Brunch & Mixer's mission is to empower Black women entrepreneurs through curated events, workshops, and networking opportunities that promote business growth and success. By creating strategic partnerships with local businesses, sponsors, and community organizations, we provide essential resources, education, and support to help these entrepreneurs overcome barriers and achieve their goals.

This Big Day of Giving, Sistah Soul Brunch & Mixer is raising $15,000 to directly invest in Black entrepreneurs through our Venture Soul Entrepreneurship Program and to strengthen the impact of our Annual Brunch & Mixer.

Your support will allow us to:

✨ Provide direct funding and business support to new entrepreneurs participating in the Venture Soul Entrepreneurship Program

✨ Offer hands-on workshops, mentorship, and practical tools to help early-stage businesses launch and grow

✨ Create vendor and visibility opportunities through our Annual Brunch & Mixer

✨ Continue building a strong, connected ecosystem for Black women entrepreneurs across the Sacramento Region and Bay Area

The Venture Soul Entrepreneurship Program is designed to equip entrepreneurs with the foundation they need to build sustainable businesses. But access to funding remains one of the biggest barriers for new business owners. Your donation helps close that gap.

At Sistah Soul Brunch & Mixer, equity is the foundation of our work. We are committed to advancing economic empowerment for Black women entrepreneurs by intentionally addressing systemic barriers to access, capital, visibility, and opportunity.

Empowerment

We cultivate spaces where Black women entrepreneurs are supported, affirmed, and equipped to reach their full potential. Through mentorship, skill-building, and access to critical resources, we work to close opportunity gaps and create pathways to sustainable business ownership and generational wealth.

Collaboration

We believe equitable ecosystems are built through partnership. By working alongside businesses, sponsors, and community organizations, we expand access to networks, funding, and opportunities that have historically been out of reach for many Black women entrepreneurs.

Education

We provide culturally responsive, innovative, and engaging educational experiences designed to meet entrepreneurs where they are. From foundational business development to growth strategies, our programs ensure participants gain practical tools that support long-term success.

Accountability

We hold ourselves responsible for delivering meaningful, measurable impact. We continuously evaluate our programs, partnerships, and events to ensure they remain aligned with our mission and responsive to the evolving needs of the community we serve.

Equity is not performative for us — it is intentional, action-driven, and embedded in every event we host, every program we design, and every partnership we build. Through our Annual Brunch & Mixer and the Venture Soul Entrepreneurship Program, we remain committed to building an entrepreneurial ecosystem where Black women can thrive without limitation.
