$500,000 Goal

The Salvation Army has actively served the Northern California region for over 130 years. The Del Oro Division, headquartered in Sacramento, is responsible for administering all Salvation Army programs in 30 counties from the Central Valley to the Oregon border. Our programs vary from one community to the next, targeting the specific needs of each area. Our emergency assistance programs are intended to meet the immediate needs of struggling people by providing food and shelter, affordable childcare, workforce development, and other programs while guiding them to long-term self-sufficiency.

The Salvation Army (TSA) Sacramento Metro, the largest Corps in the Del Oro Division, provides services to the Sacramento County area. TSA Sacramento Metro prides itself on allocating 82 cents of each dollar raised to life-changing programs that bring hope to hurting souls. With those dollars we have been able to achieve the following results in Sacramento during 2022: 34,048 people served; 143,886 meals served, and 9,079 nights of lodging provided at Center of Hope Shelter.
