$3,000 Goal

Safety Center is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization founded in 1934 whose mission is to reduce injuries and save lives by empowering our community to make positive life-changing decisions. We accomplish this mission by promoting lifelong safety and health through a variety of community and professional programs. Our programs help people of all ages learn to live safe, healthy and productive lives.

Mission

Safety Center's mission is to reduce injuries and save lives by empowering our community to make positive life-changing decisions.

Needs

Safety Center is seeking funding to support Safetyville USA.

Since its opening in 1984, Safetyville's programs have primarily served young children and their families, but just as our visitors have grown up, it is time for Safetyville to grow up too in order to better serve people of ALL ages in staying safe across all of life's milestones.

In addition to program enhancements, many of Safetyville's buildings are in need of renovations to keep our village in tip-top shape, and to increase the impact of our programs. We are planning new exhibits and displays in the village to create more meaningful experiences for visitors to Safetyville – where guests of all ages can learn lifelong safety skills using immersive technologies, engaging materials, and the power of play.

Funds raised from Big Day of Giving will support:

- Repair and renovation of Safetyville's buildings

- Design of new, interactive exhibits that will provide visitors of all ages with the opportunity to take charge of their experience and learning

We welcome volunteers who would like to donate their time and talents to Safety Center. Safetyville is looking for volunteers to assist with leading field trip and birthday party programs, building exhibits and displays in the village, office support, special events, photography, and more!
