Interest in roller skating continues to grow! Community involvement is part of our mission and we want all community members to be able to participate: as members, spectators, volunteers and beyond. This Big Day of Giving we are raising unrestricted funds to support our warehouse project in its next phase. Our plans include an accessibility upgrade of a wheelchair lift for the front entrance, so all who choose to visit us may do so with ease.
Unrestricted funds to continue to grow accessibility for our adult and juniors programs.
The financial impact continues to be a challenge for many prospective and current skaters. Your donations allow us to grow our scholarship program and offer additional financial support to members. Financial assistance can be the key to giving skaters the opportunity to build confidence and lasting relationships through our programs.
The adult skaters in our league pay for their own gear, uniforms, athletic conditioning, and travel to games. Funds for the adult league are used to subsidize travel, provide athletic conditioning classes, and offer financial support to skaters.
Our juniors program positively impacts our youth and helps form the foundation for their future. Funds for the junior league will be used to subsidize travel, uniforms, provide athletic conditioning classes, and offer financial support to skaters.
Sacramento Roller Derby is comprised of 100% volunteers. Our volunteers are referees, game officials, game day attendants, fundraising support, coaches, and medics. Volunteering is a great way to be part of our community without having to be a player!
